Congregation Activities

Sunday Worship
10.00 am – Informal and participatory. Young children welcome and included in worship. A gathering of women and men, boys and girls, who together share in leading, exploring, and enjoying worship in different forms.
Ecumenical Taize Service
First Wednesday of the month at 7.30 pm. A candle-lit sung meditation including prayer, chant, and song. All welcome.
Labyrinth
Open at all times for prayer, meditation, and reflection in the front garden.
Contemplative Prayer
1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at 5pm. Contact Rebecca.
Family Picnics
Last Sunday of the month. Contact Ian.
Op Shop
Open Friday 4pm-6pm and Saturday 9am-12 noon. Contact Cheryl or Ann. Volunteers welcome to help with sorting at different times during the week.
Frillys
Contact Russell. Barrister training available for small number of younger volunteers (15+)
Volunteers welcome to help serve at tables, take orders, washing up and packing away.
Once a month we enjoy having some musicians play in the garden. Contact Rev Felicity if you are interested to volunteer to play.

Mulch Pit
Contact Penny or Beth. Monthly cook up on the first Friday of the month
Come and enjoy the garden, having fun weeding, pruning, making soil and compost, identify great food plants to grow in Darwin and learn how to grow them, digging, sewing seeds, planting and then, once a month, help cook some of its produce.

Lent and Easter 2026

Ash Wednesday Service 6.30pm Wednesday 18^th February
Come for Pancake tea – bring a small amount of your favorite topping followed by a short service
Bible Study through Lent on Wednesday evenings. 6.30pm at the church
Palm Sunday service – Sunday 29^th March
8.30am Blessing of the Palms with Members of St Paul’s Catholic Church
9am Marching for Peace with banners on Trowel Rd (next to the pedestrian crossing in Rapid Creek)
10am Service and prayers for Peace at NUC followed by morning tea
Maundy Thursday – 6pm 2nd April
Evening Service lead by the Youth Group – Dramatic Play, washing feet and sharing a meal.
Good Friday – 6pm 3^rd April
Reflective liturgy – stripping the church, bolting the door and leaving the lanterns
Easter morning – 6am 5^th April
Dawn Service with the Karama Indonesian Uniting Church – Nightcliff Foreshore.
