On 9th February 2012, Rev Bruce Gallacher was inducted into the Kimberly Patrol. The Kimberly Patrol covers all the Kimberly, including Kununurra, where the Bruce and Kaye will be based.

On Saturday 18 Frebruary, Richard Dhangalanga was commissioned as a Pastor at Warruwi, Goulbourn Island.
On Thursday 23 February 2012, Peter Jones, General Secretary of the Northern Synod, and Ms Siobhan Marren from UnitingJustice, appeared before the Senate Standing Committee Hearing on Community Affairs.
A memorial service for Rev Wali Fejo will be held at Nungalinya College on Wednesday 7 March at 5.00 pm.

With much sadness the Northern Synod and the Northern Regional Council of Congress notes the passing of Rev Walter (Wali) Fejo in Adelaide on Monday 9 January 2012.
