This psalm was written by David after he was feeling remorseful about his despicable behaviour with Bathsheba, Uriah’s wife.

Uriah himself died because of David’s evil intentions. The prophet Nathan rebuked him loudly by saying that the child from his relationship with Bathsheba would die. Rev Bernard Clarke passed peacefully from this life on the night of 23 February 2020 after a long struggle with illness.  We pray for his wife and the extended family as they grieve the loss of a wonderful Minister and servant of Christ through the church.
