The Northern Synod has made a commitment to support the agencies working in the social service and social justice areas within the Synod boundaries. The Synod strongly supports and works with the Aboriginal Resource and Development Service (ARDS), Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) and Somerville Community Services in their work of supporting individuals, families and communities through effective social policy, advocacy and community service provision.
