The Alice Springs congregation is seeking someone with relevant skills and abilities for this full-time Minister of the Word placement in iconic Central Australia.

The focus of the position is to work with the congregation as it connects with God, God’s people, travellers and the local community in this unique environment. Within this context it is also recognised that many of the congregation’s members are actively engaged in significant ministries through their employment and other activities in the local community. Hence, in addition to pilgrimage and covenanting, the congregation is seeking a minister who is formly located within the congregation as an enabler and encourager of its members, one who anchors the various outreach ministries of the church in a common worshipping life.

Another key feature of this position is to work with and further develop the partnership with the Northern Regional Council of Congress and the local UCA agencies.
