Rev Deacon Jonathan Barker (right) had been a mentor to Pat through the long process to gain recognition within the Uniting Church. It was a joy for many to have Jonathan, now ministering at Pilgrim Church Adelaide, preaching at Pat's service. Members of Pat's family provided the music for the afternoon, much to the enjoyment of the congregation.

Chairperson Felicity challenged the Presbytery to reconstruct the vision statement from the constituent words scattered amongst the members. Some of the more resourceful members did a little 'research' and looked back through their papers for the statement. 

In preparation for the meeting congregations were sent disposable cameras and asked to take images of themselves in mission. The packets of photos were then distributed to members representing a different congregation with the task to make up a story of what they thought was happening in the photos.
